15. Road Traffic Casualties
Table showing the number of people killed or seriously injured in Road Traffic Collisions during the first 4 months of 2008/09 compared to 2007/08.
At Force level there has been 29.4% less people killed or seriously injured in Road Traffic Collisions during the first 4 months of 2008/09 compared to 2007/08. The largest increase was is in Teignbridge LPA (increase of 5). Plymouth BCU and Torbay LPA both had an increase of one person.
Of the Road Traffic Collisions during the first 4 months of 2008/09, there has been a decrease in the proportion that were Fatal compared to 2007/08.
