Profile: HERA Group is a public/private multiutility leader in environment (waste management), water and energy services.
The Group has above 6,000 employees and operates in the Emilia Romagna provinces.
Topic: ENV “Innovative resource efficient technologies, processes and services”- two-stage
Project objective: to develop a new generation of urban dustbin/waste container (and of the facilities related/connected to) with advanced features in order to:
decrease the environmental, social and economic impact of urban waste collection, transport and management;
increase the technological innovation in environmental services;
increase/maximise re-use, recycling and recovery of valuable materials from urban waste.

Expertise: in the environment sector Hera Group oversees the entire waste management cycle through operational environmental services (waste collection, street sweeping and cleaning) and waste treatment (recycling and disposal).
