Slaves began dying out as diseases spread causing the money to decrease BUT this did not end slavery

At its peak the Chesapeake colonies had over 110,000 european colonists

Nathaniel Bacon: the investigator of Bacon's Rebellion of Bacon was 29 years-old.
Governor Berkeley: Berkeley's main focus was to encourage diversification of Virginia’s agricultural products.
George Calvert: First lord baltimore. The father of Cecil Calvert (founder of Maryland.)
John Smith: An English explorer, mainly helped early English colonists learn about the region.
John Rolfe: an early English settlers of North America. Also came up with growing tobacco for the poor town.
