10 Classroom Procedures: What do I do when I first come to class?
Each day when you come in, a bellringer will be up on the board. It is your job to come in, find your seat, and begin your bellringer. Your procedures are probably different from mine, so delete these slides and start over if you need to.

11 Classroom Procedures: Where do I turn in my work?
ALL work is turned in to your class basket at the front of the classroom. Homework is due at the beginning of class and turned into the class basket. Do not leave your work on your desk and expect me to find and grade it. I won’t.

12 Classroom Procedures: What do I need each day?
Each day, you will need… A writing utensil A binder or folder (you will need to keep this in the classroom. If you cannot bring a binder, let me know! I have some extras.) A book for independent reading (we’ll talk about this more next class.) Paper

13 Classroom Procedures: What do I do if I miss a class?
If you are absent, you are responsible for getting your makeup from the teal or pink crate on the assignment table. Each week’s assignments will be in an individually labeled folder. You have the amount of time you were absent plus one additional day to complete the work and turn it back in to me for FULL credit. Ex. If you are absent on Monday, you will get the work from the crate on Tuesday. It will be due on Thursday.

14 Classroom Procedures: When can I use my phone?
You may ONLY use your cell phones when I EXPLICITLY give you permission. If this becomes a problem, we will not be using them at all. I will enforce Dunbar’s Cell Phone Policy.
