Child Care Voucher Program The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) provides finical assistance for families who are working or enrolled in high school, G.E.D, or college courses. 400 North Nigh Street Muncie , IN COST: FREE Child Care Resource and Referral This program maintains a data base for area child-care services in order to assist families in locating their desired type of child care. Huffer Memorial Children's Center 2000 N. Elgin Street Muncie, IN COST : FREE Kids Corner Child Care This school- aged program offers before and after school child care.The program also offers child care in emergency school closings, early releases from school, and services during school vacations. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware County In this community program, children are matched in a one-on-one friendship with a screened and trained volunteer. These volunteers acts as mentors and role models to the children in the program. Volunteers must commit to building a quality and consistent relationship with their assigned friend. 220 N. Walnut Street Muncie, IN COST: FREE Boy Scouts of America Boy Scouts of America aims at serving others by helping to instill values in young minds. Young boys who become a Boy Scout are more prepared to make ethical decisions and achieve their full potential. COST: FREE YMCA After School Program The after school program provides a variety of daily activities such as swimming, crafts, tutoring, karate, and games. Activities are supervised by a structured staff. This program is geared to encourage young children to remain free of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. 3818 South Madison Street Muncie, IN

8 Opportunities for Geri and Chad to Give Back to the Community.
Blood-N-Fire Ministries 300 N. Madison St. Muncie, IN 47305 Contact Person: Kyra Hainlen Blood-N-Fire invests in the youth, the poor and the nations and provides services to the community including a weekly community meal, monthly food distribution, seasonal clothing assistance, and ministry to homebound residents. Volunteers are needed to help with the weekly meal and outreach on Saturdays at 4p.m, help with general yard and building maintenance, and assistance with sorting and staffing in the clothing store. Christian Ministries E. Main St. Muncie, IN Contact Person: Becki Clock Christian Ministries is a social service agency providing assistance to Delaware County residents. This assistance includes a homeless shelter for single women with children, a homeless shelter for families, seasonal sleeping room for homeless men, food pantry, emergency assistance with rent and utilities, re-sale shop, Fresh Start program for clients moving out of shelters, participation in the Hearts and Hands Tools for School and Coats against Cold programs, and other assistance. Volunteers are needed to donate Clothes, school supplies, household items, adopt a family for Christmas, and help in the food pantry.
