Details These are drawings of specific elements where the designer wants to provide more detailed information than can be seen in the larger drawings of the entire house. A larger scale may be used. Details are often section drawings of the foundation, exterior walls, windows, stairs, framing, or other construction elements.

Weep Holes or a weep-brick is a small opening that allows water to drain from within an assembly. Weeps are located at the bottom of the object to allow for drainage; the weep hole must be sized adequately to overcome surface tension.

Weather resistant barrier
or water resistant barriers(WRB) come in several forms. The most common being #15 building felt, adhering or sprayed membranes or polyolefin building wrap like Tyvek. The purpose of these materials is preventing driving rain from entering the building shell/actual building

Flashing refers to thin pieces of impervious material installed to prevent the passage of water into a structure from a joint or as part of a weather resistant barrier (WRB) system.

Insulation Insulation is the process of keeping heat, sound, or electricity from spreading. It's also the material used to do so.

Poly–vapor barrier is any material used for damp proofing, typically a plastic or foil sheet, that resists diffusion of moisture through wall, ceiling and floor assemblies of buildings to prevent interstitial condensation and of packaging.

Sealant is a substance used to block the passage of fluids through the surface or joints or openings in materials, a type of mechanical seal. In building construction sealant is sometimes synonymous with caulking and also serve the purposes of blocking dust, sound and heat transmission.
