AP Literary Terms for AP Bound Students
Students will handwrite the following terms on 4X6 White Ruled Index Cards. Cards will be bound with a large binder ring and turned in by: Due December 6th Assignment and due date
2
The purpose of the Pre-AP Initiatives is to equip all middle and high school students with strategies and tools needed to engage in active, high-level learning that ensures a strong development of skills, habits of mind, and concepts needed to be successful in AP and college. With that in mind, the vocabulary listed will help guide English II Pre-AP students in their understanding and application of literary techniques found in the literature we will study in class.
3
One of the most important concepts for students to understand is that writers make conscious choices about how to use words, phrases, and sentences to communicate effective meaning and effect. This is the basis for which English II Pre-Ap will define and utilize these vocabulary terms throughout the year.
