2. First Day of School School begins at 7:35 am and dismisses at 2:35 pm.
Your child should bring a book to read in
the hallway before the bell rings.
Don’t forget to send lunch money or lunch
box. Your child can also bring a snack
to eat mid-morning.
If your child is a car rider, then
make sure to have a sign to display
in the front window of your car.

3. Reminders
Please complete the form on the clipboard by the door with your attendance, your child’s transportation to/from school, & your child’s T-shirt size for Boosterthon Fun Run.
Please pick up any paperwork from the back table that you may need, including your child’s signed paper folder. Please complete ALL forms and return in the envelope.

Pay ALL fees at the OG Web Store via RevTrak. The Computer Lab is open to assist you with this tonight.
Complete your child’s OG registration on the PowerSchool link to be provided.

7. Summer
Packets
Students who master the +/- fact test in 6 minutes or less with 90% accuracy AND earn 8 AR points with appropriate-leveled tests by Friday, August 25th will be included on the bowling field trip.

8. Team Teaching In 3rd grade, we conduct Walk to Read (WTR).
The students will be leveled according to ability levels based on MAP scores for reading instruction with one of the 3rd
grade teachers.
WTR will begin on Wednesday,
August 23rd.

9. Team Teaching
Mrs. Henninger and I also work together to teach Science and Social Studies. She teaches both classes Science, while I teach SC History.
