Educational background Project management Experience Project management Education High school Diploma, Associates Degree or global equivalent Minimum five years non overlapping project Management experience during which 7500 hours spent on Project Tasks. 35 contact hours of formal project management education Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent. Minimum three years/36 months of non overlapping Project management experience in last 8 years. during which 4500 hours spent on project tasks. 35 contact hours of formal Project management education

13 PMP Eligibility requirements
Project Management Experience: 36 non-overlapping months of project management experience within the last eight years. That non-overlapping part means that if you worked on six projects throughout the month of January that only counts as one month of project management work, not six months. Eligibility requires project management experience in: initiating; planning; executing; monitoring and controlling; and closing processes. On a single project, you may not have experience in all five of the process groups, but must have collectively.

Contact hours: contact hours can be achieved by completing courses, workshops and training sessions provided by one or more of the following types of educational providers: PMI registered Education Provider ( REPs) PMI Component Organizations Employer/company sponsored programs.
