Students earn credits each semester (2 semesters in a school year)
Each semester is worth 30 credits /5 credits for each class X 6 classes(same 6 classes all year; August-May)

How do I complete my Course Selection sheet? (Use the Purple Sheet 9th Grade Elective Sheet to select courses)
ALL 9th graders take 4 core classes: English, Math, Biology and PE
ALL Math courses require 8th grade teacher signature
Advanced courses in English and Biology require 8th grader teacher signature
Spanish 1 and French 1 require 8th grade teacher signature
If you plan to play a high school sport and would like to request 6th period PE, select Competitive Athletics CORE 9 as your PE course. There is no guarantee that you will receive the course but you need to select it in order to be considered.
Choose 2 electives from the 9th grade Elective List (PUPLE PAPER).
Choose 3 more electives from the 9th grade elective list as your 3 alternate electives (PURPLE PAPER).
