9. Technical Diploma Requirements Standard Technical Diploma Standard Technical Diploma One credit must be in foreign language or fine arts. Four credits must be in Career and Technical Education with a concentration in a career. If the career concentration has a State approved assessment then the assessment must be taken to receive credit. Advanced Technical Diploma Advanced Technical Diploma Foreign language credits must be 3 of one or 2 of 2 languages. If 2 of each is chosen then an additional fine arts or CTE credit must be earned. The 3 required elective choices must be CTE courses.
