1. POSITION VACANT: Case Worker, Family Partnerships – Woorabinda

In support of the Woorabinda community, Red Cross delivers a small range of services by employing staff and volunteers. Current services include Family Partnerships Service, Gumbi Gunyah Women and Children’s Wellbeing Centre, School To Future and Partners In Recovery (PIR) programs.
We currently have a vacancy in the Family Partnerships Service for a Case Worker. This position works with individuals, families and as part of a team engaging community, to strengthen families’ capability, parenting skills and resilience. The FP Program is directed by a community Governance Group to enhance the care, protection and support of children and young people. The Case Worker provides case management and case work activities, including crisis support and is responsible for developing and facilitating responsive and culturally safe and accepted programs. Your knowledge of case management principles and experience providing casework services for vulnerable people, or experience delivering children/family programs or projects will be key to being successful in this role. This is a hands on role where you can help with the wellbeing and safety of children, young people and their families in the Woorabinda community.
