Ellipsis button function to auto complete an entry that must match and entry already entered in an Imagecast dictionary. Finally, any field populated in blue text functions as a hyperlink to that information.

5 Drop down lists (blue arrows)
Fields that use drop down lists are first populated by the default entry. The Search By field is most often populated by the MRN selection by default. To change the selection, click on the blue arrow on the right side of the field to open the drop down list. Select the item you wish to use. Hint: double clicking in the field will change the field to blue and allow you to use the mouse scroll wheel to scroll through the list.

Enter as much of the item you know in the field and click on the ellipsis button. If what is entered into the field matches only one entry in the associated dictionary, the completer will replace your entry with the text from the matching field. 7 Blue hyperlinks Items in blue text function as hyperlinks to reference information appropriate to the current application. Click the hyperlink to view the reference information. Hint: Hovering the mouse cursor over the blue text will display the link destination. The hyperlink destination will depend upon the application being viewed.
