2. Common law is a model of Anglo Saxon legal order that dates back to the Norman Conquest (1066).
It was an unwritten law and it was based on the opinion of some judges who considered previous legal cases.

First: Itinerant judges were sent in every part to listen to the witnesses and to deal out justice.
