Bellwork Tuesday 9/20/16 On a clean sheet of paper, make a chart like the one shown below. I suggest turning your paper sideways to provide more space for writing and waiting until you have filled in each row to draw the horizontal line underneath (until you know how much space you need). Fill in the chart with examples of ethos, pathos, and/or logos from the text on the left. On the right, explain how Catt uses the rhetorical strategy to achieve her purpose. The top row is an example. The other rows are optional sentence starters. Find at least 2 pieces of evidence on your own.
