Homework Checked for COMPLETION unless otherwise noted
Must be 100% complete in order to earn credit Due at the beginning of class the next day If an assignment is given on Tuesday, it is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday. If an assignment is being completed after the bells rings to start class, it is counted as late Updated on the homework board & website (not 100% guaranteed that the homework will be on the website the same day)

Notebook Checks Updated….50 points Neat ……….50 points Total = 100 points Student didn’t bring notebook to class automatic 50 ***Notebooks may be kept in the classroom at any time in the appropriate class period’s notebook bin.***

Missing Work Found in the “We Missed You” binder located near the homework board Student’s responsibility Homework assigned on a day a student was absent is due a day after the student returns. Absent on Monday Returns Wednesday Monday’s (& Wednesday’s) homework is due Thursday Tuesday’s homework is due Friday

Late Work Policy: 1 day late = -20 points 2 days late = -30 points 3 days late = -40 points 4 or more days late = 50 NHI = “Not Handed In” = 50 Fill out a late work slip, then turn in the assignment into the class period’s file in the late work bin If work is on time, there is no need to worry about the late work policy!

Classroom Expectations
1. Be respectful Respect others, their property, and their opinions. Use only appropriate language and ask permission to use others’ belongings. Stay on task at all times. Respect classroom supplies- use them only when needed and put materials back where they belong. Wait to be called on to talk in class unless otherwise noted. Do not talk while someone else is talking. Continue working when a visitor (another student, teacher, or administrator) walks into the room.

2. Be prepared. Arrive to class on time with all needed materials (5-subject notebook, writing utensil, etc.) Have all assignments on their due date.
