Hey everyone! My Name is Miss Katie Roper! I am 24 years old! I will be you child’s 7th Grade English teacher for the school year! This is my third year working with Aspire but my first official year teaching!
My Childhood
I grew up in Lodi, CA with an older sister and a younger brother. I attended UPS (now Vincent Shalvey Academy), Benjamin Holt CPA, and Middle College High School. I was also able to graduate high school with four Associates of Arts degrees in 2011 from San Joaquin Delta College.
My Education
I graduated from California State University, Chico in December 2014 with my Bachelor’s Degree in English Studies and a Minor in Creative Writing. I continued my education and graduated in May 2017 from University of the Pacific with my Master’s Degree in Instruction and Curriculum. I plan on continuing my education in a few years to get my Doctorate.
