My name is Mrs. Brandi Walker! I am a Gifted Exploratory teacher at East Lake Elementary! This will be my 12th year teaching at ELE. I have been married to Pepe Walker for 23 years. We have a son, Connor, who attends college. I also have a sweet dog, Roxie.
My Childhood!
I grew up in Jonesboro, Georgia, on Lake Spivey. I spent my summers being lazy on the lake. I attended J. W. Arnold Elementary School. It was there in 4th grade that I met my husband. We have been together ever since. I attended Jonesboro Junior High and was a member of the drill team, with our principal, Mrs. Laughridge. I attended Jonesboro High School, where I was a cheerleader and played on the tennis team. Then, I went to GCSU to play tennis and earn a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

My Education!
I have a master’s degree and a specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently a student at Mercer University, pursuing my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. My graduation date is set for December 2020!
