Hi! My Name is Miss Maci Barker! I am 23 years old! I will be your child’s 6th grade English Language Arts and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) teacher for the school year! This will be my first year teaching at Renville County West Elementary and I am excited to learn with and from your child!

I grew up in Winterset Iowa. Which is known as the birthplace of John Wayne. The movie Bridges of Madison County was also filmed in Winterset. I am a life-long learner of Winterset School District. I am an only child so my mom is and always will be my best friend.

In May of 2017, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education (K-6), with specialties in Middle Level Mathematics, and Preprimary (3yrs-K). I consider myself a life-long learner and look forward to learning everyday from your child.
