What We’re Learning
Reading
We will spend our 2nd week with the fantasy story called The Trial of Cardigan Jones. Our story skills will be: conclusions, infer/predict, and dictionary skills. Our summative assessment will be Wednesday.
Language Arts
We will learn about run-on sentences. We will then review Unit 1 and take our Unit 1 Summative on Friday.
Math
We will use place value to subtract. We will also learn a problem solving strategy called Bar Model. We will review the chapter and take our Summative on Thursday.
Science & Social
Studies
Science-we will continue learning about Objects and Motion.
Social Studies-we will read about Colonial America in our MTH Research book.
Teacher Notes
Remember to initial the student planner each night so that I know you’ve seen the nightly homework.
