The students have earned another class celebration! We’ll discuss ideas and vote on Monday. Our celebration will be on Friday this week – stay tuned!
Language Arts: Nonfiction books
Key words: glossary, index, table of contents, caption
Math: graphing (bar graphs and picture graphs)
Key words: data, key, table, tally mark
Science: weather (storms & water cycle)
Key words: precipitation, condensation, evaporation
Homework reminder
Please be sure your child is reading at least 20 minutes every night!
Reading reflection letter rough drafts are written Thursday nights.
Ask your child:
To predict what will happen next when reading a new book
To describe the water cycle
Draw or write a pattern – repeating or growing
