4 Connecting to the internet:
While Sarah and Simon are travelling they can connect to the internet in 2 different ways: By cable Using a wireless (wi-fi) connection A cable connection to a network is always far quicker than a wireless connection, but there won’t be many places where Sarah and Simon will be able to find a socket to plug in their computer when they are travelling. They could use a cyber café or internet café. This is a café or coffee shop that has a number of PCs connected to the internet and available for use by customers. Most charge by the hour or minute.

6 Security precautions:
If Sarah and Simon are going to use computers in a cyber café that other people will be using, they will have to take extra security precautions. Why do you think they need to take extra security precautions? Answer: In case their personal details are accessed. There is technology available that can record every key press. Someone could be stood watching you. Make a list of the precautions you think they should take. Try to be wary of whose around you to make sure no one is watching you. Fully log out of the website. Cover the keyboard. Make sure you’ve been logged off the computer. Check there are no devices stuck into the computer or if it looks like its been interfered with. Delete cookies, cash and history as they store information. Do not allow the computer to store your passwords for you (do you want the computer to remember your password)

7 WiFi Access Many hotels offer WiFi access as this is far easier to do than provide cabled access. In many towns and cities around the world, there are places where you can use a WiFi connection to the internet for free. They are mostly located at hotels, supermarkets, restaurants and café chains such as Starbucks and McDonalds. These places are called Wireless hotspots. Use the link below to access a website that helps you to find WiFi hotspots. Search for hotspots in Stockton on Tees Search for hotspots in another UK town

Sarah and Simon have decided that the best way to show their photos to family and friends is to create online photo albums. There are many services available. One of the most popular is Flickr. What are the advantages of using online photo albums ? It doesn't take up storage on devices and do not have to transfer them to an external hard drive which costs money. You can upload old photos.
