3. Web and presentation software
When designing websites using web software and slide presentations using presentation software, a number of good practice design recommendations can be made:

4. Good Practice:
Sequencing instructions – Provide a few instructions to tell your user about how they can navigate your website or presentation
Animation – Slide presentations can use some basic animations to make the information look more interesting on screen. Websites may use Adobe Flash animations.
Transitions – It is possible to animate the way that slides and web pages move from one slide or one page to another
Links – Hyperlinks allow users to move between different slides and pages by clicking a text link, image or button

Presentations and websites must be designed in a way which is appropriate for the people who are viewing it.

Navigation – how you move from one webpage or slide to another.
Standard navigation techniques – those methods of navigation used in most presentations and websites.

Sight impairment:
Use zoom in/out buttons.
Facility to speak words on the screen.
Increase font size.
Choose font type that is easy to read.
Allow user to change colour scheme.

Hearing impairment:
Use visual warnings rather than sound warnings.
Use typed versions of any speech used.
Use subtitles for any video used.
