2. SONIA Placement – Log in Page
Select the relevant area and log in using your ECU username and password
It is recommended that students watch the You Tube video posted here.
Trouble with logging in??
Are you using your ECU username and password??
Are you enrolled in the placement unit? If no, you cannot log into SONIA Placement.

3. SONIA Placement: Checks
By Clicking on Checks students are able to view what checks and documents are required in preparation for placement.
Items in red require attention and upload before you will be able to view your Placement details.
To upload the relevant document, select browse and attach. Remember to click “save” top right before leaving!
It takes 2 working days for the document to be processed.
Students should click details to expand the allocation information

Students can also upload other listed documents here which maybe required.
Not all forms listed here are required.
This makes it easy for the Placement team to locate!

5. SONIA Placement: Forms
Under Forms there may be a form or 2 that need to be complete. By clicking EDIT this allows the student to access the form.
Remember to click “save draft” or “submit application” (if complete).
Don’t forget to wait for the time stamp before closing

6. SONIA Placement – Site Documents
The Site Documents contains Forms and Links you may require for placement including the community site, insurance documents and other forms as listed under Checks - Document Uploads

7. SONIA Placement: Placements!
Click on the Placements tab
If you have outstanding Checks – you can not view your placement.
SONIA Placement will tell you what is outstanding.
If there are no outstanding Checks you will be able to view your placement details, if allocated. Just click on “details” for more information.

Here you will find the contact information for the agency and agency contact person
You can add your own information on this page including notes, documents and website links that might be important to your Placement. This appears after clicking “Details”
You can also your agency contact/ supervisor by clicking on their !

9. SONIA Placement: My Details, History & Documents
You can add your next of kin details under My Details
History will show you your previous placements
Documents will provide a list of other documents either sent to you or a historical upload.
