2 Steps to Generating RFA Files for UC All Inclusive
Action Purpose 1 ASD Design – Must go to deployment screens in ASD for CM to generate RFA Enable Codes (see job aid on RFA enablement codes) To Generate Licenses files for the applications the deployment screens in ASD must be completed even if you do NOT want to install the applications NOW. Option: You can access CM (add Screen) in ASD at a later date and complete the deployment screens to generate the media codes for the software DVDs and RFA enablement codes for the licenses 2 Go to RFA to Create SIDs* Per Product Family for AES**, one-X Mobile, one-X Portal. Need SAP order number Go to New or Update screens in RFA to Create SIDs for every product group – whether deploying applications or NOT 3 Generate License files in RFA The quantity on the license file will match the quantity bought or the entitlement on the UCE single material code Software Media (DVD) and RFA License can only be generated by completing the deployment screens in ASD for each of the products – Please reference ASD Screen shots that follow *SIDs are not created for CM. They will be done as add-ons to an existing SID. **AES depends on how you configure it--it can be an add-on or new.
