Wisdom of the Crowd Co-creation, sharing and crowd-funding push government back. What counts as news is no longer determined by media brands but by the crowd A Handful of Apples Mega concerns set the agenda. Everything is branded – just like the news which journalists market as niche products. Most traditional media businesses do not survive. The Shire Small-scale autonomy and caution reign. Media landscape looks like collection of islands with small local titles. News is exchanged on thematic community sites. Darwin’s Game Government and media are more transparent and have an open dialogue with their target groups. Traditional news providers are relevant again but journalism held to high standards.
