Lessons from Isaiah God Is Pro-Family
Not only has God given us the power to love, but He has placed us in relationships which call this power into exercise and give it right direction, especially the relationship of parents and children. - F. S. Schenck February 25, 2018

Galatians 3:25-26 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.

Malachi 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”

Isaiah 43:5-7 Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by My name, whom I created for My glory, whom I formed and made.”

Isaiah 44:1-2 But now hear, O Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen! Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob My servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

Isaiah 44:1-2 But now hear, O Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen! Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob My servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

Isaiah 44:3-4 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit upon your offspring, and My blessing on your descendants. They shall spring up among the grass like willows by flowing streams.

Acts 2:17 And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

Isaiah 44:5 This one will say, ‘I am the Lord’s,’ another will call on the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand, ‘The Lord’s,’ and name himself by the name of Israel.

For Our Consideration God is our Father and He loves us
We are also part of a specific human family by God’s design God came up with the concept of family and He has clear instructions on how it should function The Bible is a family book from cover to cover and if we miss this, we miss a great deal of what God intended

For Our Consideration I believe the family unit is the best way to disciple and assure that the Gospel is shared From a functioning home a great deal of ministry can take place. How much takes place from one in dysfunction? Your life has a family context and therefore has great meaning by God’s design and intention

Prayer Focus Father, thank You for adopting us into Your family as Your children Thank You for the family we were given since we know that did not happen by accident Thank You for Your Word that explains the truth to us Thank You for a new day to grow and walk on with You in love
