Genesis is clear: Bless the nations! Reflects the heart of God Exodus to Malachi: Israel wanted to be like the nations! Reflects the hard heart of Israel

What did God call Jonah to do? How did Jonah respond? Why did Jonah respond that way?

7 Jonah What was the result of Jonah’s disobedience? What about the guy who is more concerned for his own comfort and well-being than for the nations?

15 From Genesis to Revelation
God did not change! God has not changed! The focus has always been to spread His glory… to all the nations! The problems arose when God’s people didn’t accept His vision, His plan, His heart!

16 How will they hear? “… for ‘WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.’ How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent?” Rom 10:13-15
