Time will be determined by mines working methods and number of unit standards selected
Practical will be conducted in the working place
One day one on one assessment

One day practical assessment in the workplace
NOTE : Final duration of the course will be determined by the amount of Unit Standards to be completed

10. Blasting Assistant and Secondary Blasting
Background
With the implementation of the Explosives Regulations it is required that all relevant employees do
MQA required Unit Standards.
Course : Blasting Assistant – Both Surface and Underground Mining

12. Co-Ordination and Record Keeping of all Training
F&S also has a electronic database for record keeping of all training conducted. We include a co-ordination function with all our clients where we undertake to arrange all training to be conducted and keep record on both an electronic and a hard copy basis. Exceptional reports can be printed from our database which will assist with the completion of our client’s skills development reports.
