2. Introduction
I chose 50 First Dates to do because I really liked the movie and thought it was unique. I’ve never seen a movie like it. It was recommended to me by a friend so I thought I’d watch it and I really loved it. I chose these soundtracks to show how much Henry loved Lucy.

3. Background Information
Henry, a veterinarian, makes it his goal to get with Lucy, but he doesn’t know that she has short-term memory loss; she can't remember anything that happened the day before. So every morning, Henry has to find someway to make her remember him again. Lucy’s friends and family are very protective and don’t allow Henry to see her thinking he wants to play her so must convince them that he's in it for love.

4. Song 1 Ed Sheeran - Shape of You
Girl, you know I want your love
Your love was handmade for somebody like me
Come on now, follow my lead
I may be crazy, don't mind me
In the beginning of the movie Lucy’s family and friends kept Henry away from her her because they thought he wanted to mess around with her like he did with other girls but in truth he wanted to get to know her better because she intrigued him.
I picked those lyrics because in the song Ed Sheeran is directly addressing the girl whilst in the movie Henry is addressing her family and friends trying to prove to them that they belong together and he really likes her. Just like in the song, Henry wants Lucy to follow his lead and fall in love with him.

5. Song 2 Ed Sheeran - Perfect
I found a love for me
Darling just dive right in
And follow my lead
Well I found a girl beautiful and sweet
I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Towards the middle of the movie Henry started to fall for Lucy and her childlike personality. Everyday she would do the same things in the same order but he was mesmerized by her. He came up with an idea which was to make a video everyday while they’re together so he can show it to her the next day so she would remember everything.
I picked those lyrics because in the song Ed Sheeran is saying he found a love for him with a beautiful and sweet girl such as Henry was falling in love with Lucy. He knew she was the one because he was willing to sacrifice everything for her. When Ed Sheeran said they were kids when they fell in love he alluded to how immature Henry was when the relationship first started.

6. Song 3 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud
And darling I will be loving you 'til we're 70
And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23
And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
Maybe just the touch of a hand
Oh me I fall in love with you every single day
And I just wanna tell you I am
In the end of the movie Henry comes to realize that he has truly fallen in love with Lucy and knows that he has to do something to make her remember everything. As he did before, he makes a video of them together everyday to show her and help her remember stuff. They finally get married and have a daughter together.
I picked those lyrics because in the song Ed Sheeran says he’ll love his S.O. till they’re 70 (he put a number for exaggeration) and he still continues to fall for her everyday. When Lucy sees the videos everyday, she always says “nothing beats a first kiss” and falls in love with Henry everyday just as he does with her.

7. Conclusion
In conclusion I think the songs I chose would fit the scenes perfectly because of how closely related they are. Ed Sheeran’s songs in many ways captures the movies scenes almost perfectly. I’ve watched the movie many times and I think it’s a great movie everyone should try to watch. Henry’s efforts to make Lucy remember their memories together make any girl swoon.
