2. National conferences with users of European statistics
A proposal from the last Dissemination Working Group, which aims at:
- Strenghtening direct communication with users
- Discussing availability and quality of European statistics between producers and users
- Highlighting the collaboration between Eurostat and NSIs
- Promoting the value of European statistics

3. Organisation
- Two conferences per year in the Member States ensuring the Presidency of the Council: Riga in April 2015, Luxembourg in October 2015
- Co-organisation by Eurostat and the NSI
- Financial support from Eurostat

4. Success of the first conference in Riga on 24 April 2015
- Around 50 participants representing all groups of users: national administration academics, enterprises, journalists and researchers.
- Participation of the top management of CSB Latvia and Eurostat
