2 Workforce Development Funding
A funding stream from the Department of Health disseminated by Skills for Care Focuses on the achievement of qualification units and supports the ongoing professional development of staff Significant contribution towards the costs of workers completing units and qualifications on the Qualifications and Credit Framework

3 Workforce Development Funding
Employers are able to claim £15 per credit, per unit Employers can claim unit by unit if they choose Units completed between January 2016 and March 2017 can be claimed for Associated costs Routed through employer-led partnerships – SW London Partnership NMDS-SC requirement

Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care - up to £690 ƒLevel 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care - up to £870 ƒLevel 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - up to £1,200 ƒLevel 2 Award in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities - up to £180 ƒLevel 3 Certificate in Stroke Care - up to £390

Will cover: What is resilience – and why does it matter Building resilience – what works Psychologically Informed Environments Practical stress relieving and relaxation techniques and exercises to help you develop your own resilience

7 Upcoming Skills for Care Recruitment & Retention seminars
Finding the right people for your organisation - will explore practical ways to find and attract candidates as well as practice shortlisting and designing selection days to help recruit people with the right values and behaviours for their organisation Recruiting for values in adult social care - will provide delegates with the opportunity to develop and practice new interviewing techniques and skills to identify and assess how a candidate’s personal values, behaviours and attitudes align with those of their organisation
