Use State FFA Degree as the data collection method
Require students to complete the state degree after annual record book close out
Update each year thereafter
At graduation time and beyond, student will have a repository as well as summary of SAE program.

7. Strategies for summer and for students who aren’t continually in program
Brainstorm ideas! Possible ideas include…
Planned summer visits for all students
Have a plan for what happens during those visits.
Update record books monthly
Allot time at beginning of school year to update summer months
Also use this time for those who are student in the program but not enrolled in spring
Use time in January
Close out calendar year record books
Catch-up time for those student who were not enrolled in fall semester
Transfer record book summary to State FFA Degree application
