1 Provide Real-Time Appointment Status & Improve Patient Satisfaction
Web-based waiting time ticker A system to help patients know how to reduce waiting room time and doctors to be more comfortable running behind schedule. This was the brain-child of Doctor Robinson. As the developer for meetinghousefamilyphysician.com, I was asked to implement it. 2 How the system works The patient’s perspective.

3 Patient perspective On – time
It’s a Miracle. Patients can check a webpage to find out if the doctor is running behind. Patients can use any internet connected device to track the schedule. Doc Robinson came to me with the idea of posting: On time - it's a miracle. 15 minutes late - we told him to hurry up. 30 minutes late - don't blame us. 45 minutes late - he's old and slow 60 minutes late - it's time to retire.

4 Patient Benefits 30 minutes late
Leave home later Run extra errands or shop longer Minimize contact with people in waiting room with infections Patients can use any internet connected device to track the schedule. The doctor has the benefit of having less time pressure with patients, happier patient / clients.

From their website: “WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website, blog, or app. We like to say that WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time. The core software is built by hundreds of community volunteers, and when you’re ready for more there are thousands of plugins and themes available to transform your site into almost anything you can imagine. Over 60 million people have chosen WordPress to power the place on the web they call ‘home’ — we’d love you to join the family.”
