We chose Omaha beach – We thought that the Omaha beach is provided with more facilities than the other Beaches, because its close to the Bayeux and Arromanches – pre- existing tourist centres – which is beneficial to ours as well as our being beneficial to their tourist centre, so that the visitors who wants to go to the other Tourist Centre would visit our Tourist Centre too, and they will not get away without visiting our Tourist centre. Moreover, building our Tourist Centre will not destroy much lands as it would if we build it in Juno beach as the Juno beach is covered mostly by farmland, as well as building our Tourist centre in Sword Beach will not provide us with a Good transport road therefore it will be hard for the visitors to visit our Tourist Centre. These few reasons helped us to decide and choose the Omaha beach. Note: one or more of the beaches might have the same facilities but we though that the Omaha beach has the more Facility

3. This map would be only the sketch of the out lined map of the Tourist-Today. Main hall Gift shop Reception toilet Play room Dress up room memorial Information room Cafeteria Games room Utility room Detection room Education room Information Room Helicopter Pad Cinema

4. The main hall is where people will gather and put them in group, and a member of staff will take each group from hall and bring them back to the hall. This will avoid people from getting mixed. Specially when there is a school trip, pupils will be gathered there and organised.

5. Relaxation room is for those who are tired and wants to have some rest so they can do so in relaxation room without being disturbed. You can have café in Relaxation. You sleep/rest You can read books (if you wanted to). You can have conversation with the staff, friends or family. Etc...

6. Information Room is for the people who are comfortable to go and look around for themselves but only needs some guide to make their way through. Information room will help to provide the visitor with all kind of information that you need while your being in the Tourist Centre, such as handing out the maps of the Tourist Centre and Guide people where they dont know what to do. As a regard, all people should visit the Information Room to get their comforts while they are in Tourist Centre.

7. Play Room is specially designed for young and adult aged person who wants to experience the war, what it was like to be in there, (E.g. Leading a ship in middle of ocean)

8. Dress up Room is a exchanging room for those who wants to climb on the mountain the way the soldier did, the dress up Room will provide people with the Armies dress and the weight they were caring while they were in the war, so the visitors get a better experience of the war. The Guns that you will going to use is not the real guns but you still get the pressure of caring it as it has the same weight as the real guns.

9. The cinema in the Tourist Today isnt like the one you have been going to watch the movie you like, its slightly different, itll have all kind of documentary Videos regarding the World war 2, to choose from, rather than having all the Action movies.

10. In April and May 1944, the Allied air forces lost nearly 12,000 men and over 2,000 aircraft in operations which paved the way for D-Day. 60 million people died in World War 2 About 40 million were civilians. Children as well as adults were affected by the war.

11. Country who lost lives The Soviet Union lost the most with 25 million deaths, but only about a third were combat related. China's death toll is incomplete but estimates are between 15 and 22 million. Poland had 6 million deaths including 3 million Jews, roughly 20% of its prewar population. Germany lost 4 million soldiers and 2 million civilians, many of them women. Japan had 1.2 million battle deaths and another 1.4 million soldiers listed as missing, almost 1 million civilians were killed in the bombing raids between 1944 and 1945. Over 1.7 million Yugoslavs and 500,000 Greeks died in the war. France lost 200,000 soldiers and 400,000 civilians. Italy lost 330,000 people. Hungary lost 147,000 men in combat. Bulgaria lost 19,000 in combat. Romania lost 73,000 in combat. Great Britain lost 264,000 soldiers and 60,000 civilians in bombing raids. The United States lost 292,000 soldiers. The Dutch lost 10,000 soldiers and 190,000 civilians. Australia lost 23,000 men in combat. Canada lost 37,000 soldiers. India lost 24,000 men in battle. New Zeland lost 10,000. South Africa lost 6,000. These totals do not include the 6 million Jews who perished in the Final Solution of Nazi Germany or the 17 million dead as a result of Japan's policies in Asia from 1931 to 1945.
