Air Quality Air quality is the state of air around humans and many other organisms. Good is air quality is clean, clear, unpolluted air and clean air is necessary to maintain a good environment. The airs quality is affected by climate change because gases absorb the radiation then is released into the earths atmosphere. Air quality also has many affects such as causing many humans to have lung problems. There are also rising levels in the ocean.

Air Quality There are many factors to The Study of Air Quality. There are also many types of gases that impact the quality of air. Good gases help plants and humans to survive, plants produce oxygen that help humans breathe. Forest fires can also have a negative impact on the Earth’s air quality; elevation also plays as a factor. When in a higher elevation the density of the air is less dense and the lower the elevation the more dense the air is. At higher elevations gases are emitted greater than lower elevations such carbon monoxide.

Affects of Air Quality While carbon dioxide helps plants survive, too much in the earth’s atmosphere can lead to various climate changes. Along with the climate change it can lead to unhealthy ozone levels and harmful amounts of air pollutants. High amounts of ozone can damage a human being’s lung tissue and reduce lung function causing asthma and many different lung diseases. Even though this is not the main reason there are many factors that can impact this. It is always good to protect yourself and use safety measures when this happens.

Greenhouse Gases There are a couple of gases that make the earths atmosphere heat up. Methane is in 14% 0f all greenhouse gases produced from landfills, cattle farming, and rice farming. Carbon dioxide is 77% and produced from fossil-fuel-based electrical power, fossil fuel combustion in on-road motor vehicles, and airplanes. Nitrous oxide is 8% and comes from agriculture, burning wood, and industrial processing. F-gases also known as Fluorinated gases are produce by manufacturing industries.

Climate Change and Air Quality
The biggest reason for climate change is the increase in green house gases. These are gases absorb radiation from the sun, and keep heat in the earths atmosphere. The earths climate has heated over a long period of time. Climate change is the change in typical weather patterns over long periods of time, causes an increase in global temperatures. This also leads to ocean levels rising with ice melting.

Climate Change and Air Quality
Air Quality is being affected by climate change. Air quality has to do with gases and how they trap heat in the earths atmosphere. Climate change and air quality both have an affect on all living things. Both air quality and climate change have to force all living things to adapt to there environment. Those are the few things that living things have to do due to climate change.

Ocean Levels One of the most noticeable effects of climate change has been the melting of large amounts of ice around the world. Glaciers and ice sheets are large, slow-moving groups of ice that cover about 10% of the world’s land area. Over the past 100 years, most of the world’s mountain glaciers have lost mass. More ice melts each year than is replaced. When temperatures are high for longer periods of time and there is less precipitation, the glaciers and ice sheets lose mass causing changes in sea levels.

Forest Fires Forest Fires carry pollutants such as carbon monoxide and atmospheric mercury. These pollutants don’t disperse easily in to the air but when they do it makes it less visible to see. One factor that helps with the pollutants to spread is wind, high winds will make this happen faster. Wild fires verses prescribe burns, though both forms the same toxins, the amount made is still less. Long after a forest fire is contained the pollutants stay in the earth’s atmosphere affecting the air quality.

Conclusion Air quality is the state of air around humans and many other organisms. here are many factors to The Study of Air Quality. While carbon dioxide helps plants survive, too much in the earth’s atmosphere can lead to various climate changes. There are a couple of gases that make the earths atmosphere heat up. The biggest reason for climate change is the increase in green house gases. Air quality has to do with gases and how they trap heat in the earths atmosphere.
