10 Articulate Studio ’09 Articulate Studio ’09 is made up of four components which work together seamlessly and integrate into PowerPoint. With Articulate Presenter you can add narration, annotation, and links other web pages. Engage Interactions are templates building the interactive components most teachers find helpful. Glossary, FAQs and labeled images are among the features available with Engage. Quizmaker lets you add quiz and survey questions to your online module. Many questions types are available. Video Encoder allows you to edit video in most formats and incorporate it into your presentation.

11 First there was PowerPoint
Outline Slide Normal view The normal view is made of of 3 areas The Outline area. If you click on the Outline Tab you can see slide titles and other text on the slides. Slide titles become the left hand navigation in the articulate player. The Slide where you insert images, arrows and other graphic and text features The Notes area where you type your speakers notes. Text in the Notes area become something similar to a teleprompter as you narrate. Next we’ll look at animation Notes

13 Presenter When you launch PowerPoint in addition to the usual PowerPoint tools, you will see an Articulate Ribbon. When you click on this ribbon you will gain access to all the Articulate Studio Tools. At the left you will see the icons for Record Narration, Add Annotations, and other tools associated with recording and importing audio. In the middle are links to the Quizmaker and Engage Interaction tools as well as the tools associated with incorporating other common forms of online content. On the right are the tools associated with publishing your online module. You can preview a single slide, the next 3 slides or select a range to preview.
