Provide advanced knowledge of telehealth and telehealth technologies Dedicated telehealth courses Addition of telehealth education and skills to curriculum Provision of clinical experiences through preceptorship in telehealth Capstone mentors Exploring issue surrounding nursing telehealth practice RN, NP, and DNP Telehealth education should include Didactic Hands on telehealth experience Student can utilize this knowledge to integrate telehealth creatively into nursing practice

Discuss basic telehealth technology and terminology Describe current technologies and service delivery systems Describe clinical applications, standards, and guidelines in telehealth Analyze the impact of model telehealth programs on patient care outcomes Identify the issues surrounding credentialing and licensure of HC providers using telehealth. Recognize current status of reimbursements, legal, regulatory, policy issues related to implementation of telehealth Examine the nurse’ role in using telehealth creatively to address provision of care Fullest extent of our practice Enter the era of the Affordable Care Act Demonstrate utilization of telehealth technologies to explore the nursing role Nurse Telepresenter and LIP Tele-consultation, provision of nursing care, patient education, patient monitoring
