10 Virtual Virginia Classes
The e-learning program is provided by the Virginia Department of Education and offers online access to courses for students. Some classes students will incur associated costs. Dual Enrollment DE is where students are enrolled in high school and college courses simultaneously through Paul D. Camp Community College. Students will be responsible for tuition in some classes. THIS WILL BE THE START OF YOUR COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT! GPA Weight added for these courses is 1.0 Placement testing is required for enrollment: Upcoming dates at WHS: March 24th, April 21st, May 8th, May 22nd

11 Early College Scholars
The Early College Scholars program allows eligible high school students to earn at least 15 hours of transferable college credit while completing the requirements for an Advanced Studies Diploma. The result is a more productive senior year and a substantial reduction in college tuition. Students earning a college degree in seven semesters instead of eight can save an average of $5,000 in expenses. To qualify for the Early College Scholars program, a student must: • have a "B" average or better; • be pursuing an Advanced Studies Diploma; and • take and complete college‐level course work (i.e., Advanced Placement or dual enrollment) that will earn at least 15 transferable college credits.
