2 Ceilings Ceiling treatments where given importance from historical period to the modern interiors. Several materials are used for ceiling, such as hardwood, reinforced concrete, metal, plaster, drywall, acoustical tiles etc.

3 Wood ceiling Mainly used in places where wood is cheaply available.
Gives a rustic and beautiful look to the ceiling. Options are paneling, siding and wood planks.

4 Reinforced concrete ceiling
RCC ceiling look industrial with the structure, ductwork, lighting systems and sprinkler systems exposed . The exposed areas can be painted to blend with the concrete for uniform appearance. This works well with spaces where most activities happen in the eye level.

5 Metal ceiling Metal ceilings are typically decorative.
Installed mainly as ceiling systems. Available as linear metal, reflective surfaces, open plenum and stamped metal panels.

6 Pressed Tin Ceiling Treatment

7 Dry wall ceiling High quality gypsum is used to construct the drywall ceiling. Can have a smooth finish or textured for both aesthetics and sound absorption. Plaster boards are directly fixed on wood or metal frame systems. The boards are usually seamed with a tape or plaster. The surface can be painted or finished with other wall coverings.

8 Acoustical ceiling Acoustical ceiling contain sound absorbing materials that enhances the acoustical properties of the room. Acoustical ceiling tile is made of mineral fiber which is available with variety of options like: Anti-microbial solutions Fire resistance Variety of styles like regular tiles, scored, flat lay-in, textured etc. These tiles can be installed directly onto a finished surface or suspended from a metal grid.

9 Suspended ceilings Used to conceal the pipes, wires or other services that run through the ceiling. Found mostly in commercial buildings. consists of a grid-work of metal channels in the shape of an upside-down "T" suspended on wires from the overhead structure. panels are removable making them easy to maintain and upgrade. The ceiling panel conceals the underside of the floor above and offers acoustic balance and control in a room.

11 Suspension system can be exposed, semi exposed or concealed depending on the desired look.
Not recommended for family housing rooms.

12 Faux Finish Ceiling Treatment

13 Medallion Ceiling Treatment is an interesting feature to add to a contemporary setting.
Usually in the form of an ornate rosette. Also available square or oval.

14 Tudor Style Ceiling Treatment

15 Honeycomb Ceiling Treatment to bring focus to the ceiling.

16 Contemporary Dropped Ceiling Treatment
a contemporary ceiling treatment by varying heights and geometric patterns.

17 Painted Ceiling Treatment
Painted stripes on this ceiling treatment. creates visual interest on the ceiling.
