2 Teachers’ notes If the 10th of June has passed and the 2018 Soccer Aid game has taken place, ask: Who won? Who played? How much was raised? Find information here:

3 £[insert total] Teachers’ notes
Replace [insert total] with your schools’ total fundraising amount Explain: Every £1 students have raised is going to be matched by the UK Government - doubling their efforts! UK aid has a profound effect on the lives of millions of children like Raheema and Sebenele and provided relief in some of the world’s hardest to reach places. In recent years, the number of people living in extreme poverty globally has halved and UK aid has contributed significantly to this progress. The funds students have raised will quite literally be changing lives. Ask: If the UK Government are doubling the amount we raised, how much will Unicef receive altogether? Take students’ answers before revealing the doubled amount on the next slide.

4 £[insert doubled total]
Teachers’ notes Replace [insert doubled total] with your schools’ doubled total fundraising amount (once it has been matched by the UK government). Ask: What could the total funds raised by your year group/ whole school/ wider community achieve? What could your own individual fundraising achieve?

5 Teachers’ notes Add photographs or quotes to this slide to share the highlights of the Playground Challenge from across the school.

6 [insert teacher/parent/ pupil etc name here]
Teachers’ notes Use this slide to mention teachers, parents or pupils who really gave their all to the Playground Challenge and need a special thank you. [insert teacher/parent/ pupil etc name here]

7 [insert name here] Teachers’ notes
You may wish to customise this slide depending on whether your Soccer Aid 2018 Champion is an individual, class or year group.

8 [insert name here] Teachers’ notes
This award can be used for a student who rose to a different element of the Soccer Aid challenge – whether that was through: persevering when they found an obstacle course particularly tricky encouraging others to fundraise providing invaluable help behind the scenes in a fundraising initiative.

9 [insert name here] [insert name here] [insert name here]
Teachers’ notes You may want to insert the names of the class, the individual or the year group who raised the most funds. [insert name here]

10 Teachers’ notes Ask students to reflect on: What have you achieved for yourself? What did you gain from the Playground Challenge? What did you achieve for others? Can you think of any different people who benefitted from your efforts? (e.g. school community, friends who they cheered on, the children who will receive Unicef’s support) Ask: How could we build on the good things that have come out of taking part in Soccer Aid? This could include: Using some of the ideas on the last slide of the Intro presentation relating to Unicef’s work, if not used already. Looking at other ways to raise money for Unicef: Considering becoming a Rights Respecting School:

11 Teachers’ notes Customise this page to show the different learning that has gone on across the school. You can include photographs, text or embed videos to showcase what pupils have learnt about Soccer Aid and the work of Unicef. Showcase any learning that has taken place in lessons – you may want to ask some students to share their work.

12 Teachers’ notes Thank you teachers too!
