Teachers’ notes
Use this Celebration presentation once you have completed the Soccer Aid for Unicef Playground Challenge.
It can be shared in a whole-school assembly or with an individual class or year group.
The presentation can be customised to show all the amazing achievements that have taken place at your school during the Playground Challenge.

Explain:
Every £1 students have raised is going to be matched by the UK Government - doubling their efforts!
UK aid has a profound effect on the lives of millions of children like Raheema and Sebenele and provided relief in some of the world’s hardest to reach places. In recent years, the number of people living in extreme poverty globally has halved and UK aid has contributed significantly to this progress. The funds students have raised will quite literally be changing lives.
Ask:
If the UK Government are doubling the amount we raised, how much will Unicef receive altogether?
Take students’ answers before revealing the doubled amount on the next slide.
