5. Friday (departure) 7.00-9.30 Wake up, move bags, tidy room, breakfast
Presentations
11.30 depart.
Expected time of arrival 2.30.
(a text message will be sent when departed updates on when/where to pick your child up will be communicated in this way)

6. Daily task (children's choice)
Litter picking
Stick collecting
Boot room tidy
Sorting of common rooms
Equipment tidy (i.e. find footballs)

7. Children’s Responsibilities
Making their own beds
Packing their own suitcase on last day (we would recommend that your child helps pack their own bag) with your help. This will help them know what they have brought and give them independence).
Get themselves dressed, washed etc.
Listen to and follow instructions
Help each other out
Look after their own possessions

8. Behaviour As a school we expect the same standard of behaviour.
During the residential we will still follow the schools behaviour policy.
This includes giving dots and debits.
If your child does not behave to these standards they could be sent home.

9. Accommodation There is three accommodation floors
Each floor has dorm rooms which hold 2-6people
Boy and girls will have separate floors (girls floor 1 and boys floor 2&3)
Each floor has shower blocks, some rooms are onsuit
Two staff on girls floor, and one staff on each boys floor.
Staff bedrooms next to children’s dorms
Children will have a shower each evening with hair wash on every other evening.

11. Evening Activities Night Walk Orienteering Plas challenge
Disco/talent show (here the children can bring clothing for this, ie jeans etc.)

12. Meal Time Children are fed regularly Breakfast- toast and cereal
Lunch-mixture of sandwiches, hot meal and cake
Dinner- assorted meals + pudding
All dietary requirements indicated on the consent form will be seen to by the centre

13. Kit Everyone has be given a kit list.
Please ensure there case is manageable as they will have to carry/wheel it to and from the coach.
They can bring a day bag which they can use on the day walk activity, can the pack lunch be packed into this.
We ask that the children bring old clothes with them, which you do not mind getting muddy or spoilt.
We recommend putting names on every item.
Wellies, waterproof trousers and jackets can be borrowed from Plas Gwynant centre but if you have them please bring them along.
A addressed envelope and stamp.
Please do not bring any technological items such as IPod, DS or mobiles.

14. Weather
The weather in North Wales can be a lot different to that of West Bromwich
Looking at temperatures they are expected to be lower
The weather is also very interchangeable, it can go quickly from sunny and hot to cold and wet
Please ensure the children bring old clothes and plenty of layers to help adapt to these changes

15. Communication Once arrived at Plas Gwynant a text will be sent out.
Daily blog put onto the website which contains photos along with a small sections about what happened that day (internet dependant).
Once departed a text will be sent.
A text will be sent when we arrive back at school, this will indicate a collection time.
