3. Class Summary
In this lab you will take an AutoCAD® based control system design and add AutoCAD® Electrical intelligence You will:
Convert existing lines into wires
Convert text to wire numbers
Make ladders smart
Replace AutoCAD® blocks with AutoCAD® Electrical components
Add Electrical project intelligence to title blocks
You will do all this with tools available in a typical installation of AutoCAD® Electrical!

4. Learning Objectives At the end of this class, you will be able to:
Convert regular AutoCAD® objects
Convert lines to wires
Convert text to wire numbers
Add wire connections
Convert an AutoCAD® ladder to be a smart ladder
Convert AutoCAD® blocks to AutoCAD® Electrical smart blocks
Swap/Update Block tool
Convert to Schematic Component tool
Automatically update title blocks with project information
