1 How Our Courses Work To progress through this slide show, simply click your mouse or use your arrow keys next back

2 Getting started… Once you are enrolled, simply select the appropriate course link to display its information. For example, if you are enrolled in the NSW Certificate of Registration Real Estate Salesperson course, you must click on the NSW Real Estate Salesperson course link.

3 The main screen of the course selected is then displayed…
In the column on the left of the screen, are links to administration functions like Navigation (Course content), Settings (Grades) and Activities (Submitting assignments). The centre section is the actual course information and material (links to Learner Resources and Assessment Tasks). Scrolling down reveals the General Information and Learner Resource links for each topic of the course.

4 You can change the left and right columns to be tabs instead…
By clicking on the button in the panels, you can minimise the panels to be tabs instead. Or you can maximise them to be panels again using the button. Scrolling your mouse over a tab will display the relevant selectable options in that tab.

5 Scrolling down displays the course content…
Following the course description are the General Information links of the course. Beneath the General Information links are the modules (or Topics) of the course. Each module’s objective, Assessment Task and Learner Resource links are displayed for selection. Clicking on an assessment task weblink will open a page displaying the assessment task in text form. Clicking on an assessment task ‘word doc’ link will download the Word Document version of the task.

6 Using the weblink version of an Assessment Task…
To view all of the questions, simply scroll up and down through the page content as required. You should copy and paste these questions into a Word Document and save on your computer to complete the questions, unless you choose to use the Word Document version of the tasks. You can use your Browser’s ‘back’ button or shortcut links, like NSW RESP, to return to the course material.

7 To select a Learner Resource…
The Learner Resources are available in the form of links to webpages and PDF documents. Simply select the Learner Resource you wish to display by clicking on it. Each Learner Resource opens in a pop-up window, so you don’t need to navigate away from the main course page every time you want to display a resource. Tip: You can keep your saved Word Document with the Assessment Task questions open and refer to them as you work through the Learner Resources.

8 Answer questions in your saved Assessment Tasks document…
Open the document you created/downloaded with the Assessment Task questions. Insert your own answers into the document. Once you have completed all your answers and saved your document/s, you are ready to upload your assessment task for the assessor to grade. Note: Please do not copy and paste learner resource material (unless you are quoting from an Act or Legislation) directly into your answers. See FAQ#02 for information on uploading your assessment tasks
