Special Initiative: Project Skill Connect
Project description : Evolving and deploying a Skill Development Model for engineering students based on Joint working of the key stakeholders that will …. Build Employable skills in students who volunteer Validate skills acquired, Enhance skills through internships with SME industries(as possible) Co-working with volunteers of the IEEE Hyderabad Section’s various Societies & student branches How does this project help you meet its objectives? This is identified as a cross functional activity between Educational Activities and Industry relational Activities. The primary aim is to bridge the skill gap between what is expected from industry and what is offered from education institutions. By involving the college management and SMEs in defining the training curriculum, this issue is addressed. The students are made skill ready, preparing them to be productive when engaged in internship by Industry.
