3 Getting started Easy to set up.
Sports Leaders can help design and measure the course. Sports Leaders can supervise the daily walk. Children of all abilities can participate. No need to change into PE kit. No special equipment required. Can take place whatever the weather. It can be as basic as just completing the mile walk each day or you can submit your data half termly to Active Essex for a chance to win prizes or input data on the Golden Mile website to generate milestone certificates and create challenges both intra and inter school. Both Active Essex and Golden Mile have all the resources you need to get started.
