5 Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) Public Fleet Pilot Project
Business ZEV Purchasing Incentives Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) Up to $7,000 in rebates for purchase or lease qualified battery electric, plug-in hybrid, or hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles Public Fleet Pilot Project Replaces CVRP’s standard rates with up to $15,000 for Public Fleets located in Disadvantaged Communities The Clean Vehicle Rebate Project Great opportunity to receive up to $7,000 in rebates to purchase or lease qualified vehicles, which are listed on CVRP’s website These vehicles range between battery-electric, plug-in hybrid, and fuel-cell electric vehicles ~~~~~ Can apply for rebate after taking possession of and registering the vehicle, if leased, after obtaining registration on the vehicle Additional $2,000 rebate if located in a DAC Maximum of 2 CVRP rebates, unless you are a rental, public, or carshare fleet If you are a public fleet located in a DAC, you might be interested in the Public Fleet Pilot Project, which replace the CVRP standard rebates with up to $15,000 for the purchase of a electric-vehicles Minimum of 30 rebates per calendar year $15,000 for fuel-cell electric, $10,000 for battery-electric, $5,250 for plug-in hybrid electric Only purchased vehicles are eligible for PFP

6 Federal Tax Credit Up to $7,500 is available
Business ZEV Purchasing Incentives Federal Tax Credit Up to $7,500 is available Expires for a manufacturer’s vehicle once 200,000 vehicles have been sold Tax credits still available for all manufacturers as of March 2018: Offers up to $7,500 to small-businesses in addition to local and state incentives for the purchase or lease of electric vehicles (plug-in hybrid and battery-electric). This tax credit will expire on a vehicle once the manufacture has sold 200,000 of that specific vehicle The manufacturer with the most sold vehicles was ???? with ## vehicles. There is a federal tax credit of up to $7,500 in addition to local and state incentives for electric vehicles. This tax credit expires once 200,000 qualified plug-in and battery-electric vehicles have been sold by each automotive manufacturers. As of this month, the tax credits are still available for all manufacturers. The A federal tax credit of up to $7,500 is available in addition to state and utility company incentives for electric vehicles. The federal tax credit will expire once 200,000 qualified PEVs have been sold by each automotive manufacturer. The tax credits are still available for all manufacturers as of March Tesla has sold the most electric vehicles in the U.S. so far but it will have to sell an additional 80,000 electric cars before the federal tax credit begins to phase out for that manufacturer. Additional incentives include electric charging infrastructure tax credits, research project grants, alternative fuel technology loans, and establishing requirements for government fleets. For vehicles acquired after December 31, 2009, the credit is equal to $2,500 plus, for a vehicle which draws propulsion energy from a battery with at least 5 kilowatt hours of capacity, $417, plus an additional $417 for each kilowatt hour of battery capacity in excess of 5 kilowatt hours. The total amount of the credit allowed for a vehicle is limited to $7,500.

California Capital Access Program (CalPAC) Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVCS) Financing Program Offers loans to small businesses installing charging stations Provides a rebate that covers up to 10-15% of the loan amount Loans can be used with other financial incentive to further reduce costs The CalPAC Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Financing Program offers loans from banks and other financial institutions to support small businesses installing charging stations. This loan will cover the cost of: The purchase and acquisition of charging station(s) Labor to install charging stations Costs to operate, service, and maintain charging stations In addition to the loan, your business will also receive a rebate that covers 10-15% of your loan, once your loan is paid off of after 48 months of paying the loan. Overall, this loan program helps to reduce the installation and acquisition costs as well as makes it easy for you to pair the loan with other incentive programs to further reduce upfront costs
