Steam Engine created by Thomas Newcomen 1712, James Watt later modified it 1736 main function was to pump water out (mostly in mines) Spinning Jenny James Hargreaves founded this in 1764 multiple spools of thread could be produced at the same time Water Frame/Water Wheel Richard Arkwright created this in 1769 used by factories to spin 91 thread spools at once with water power Steam Engine Spinning Jenny Water Frame
