Log into insideUNH (aka the “portal”) View your class roster in SSB and Print Picture Rosters from the UNH website Post official grades in SSB Add your syllabus on Blackboard your students through Blackboard Thursday, September 20, 2018Thursday, September 20, 2018

3 Review Rosters Official Course Roster = SSB Summary Class List
Picture Rosters – not official but very helpful! Self-Service Banner Course Rosters You must be on campus to access the picture rosters. for-faculty-staff/search-course-roster/ OR Go to the Faculty & Staff page on the UNH website. In Academics section, click Search Course Rosters. Log in with your UNH network username and password. Select the term and then find your course from the alpha- sorted list. Click Print Page to print the entire roster. SSB – MUST USE: IE or FIREFOX or SAFARI

4 Submit Grades in SSB From insideUNH, click SSB icon.
Click Faculty Services tab. Click Term Selection and select the appropriate term, then click Submit. Click Final Grades (or Midterm Grades for some students). 30 MINUTE LIMIT TO SUBMIT ENTRIES. OTHERWISE, ENTRIES WILL REVERT TO PREVIOUS STATE. If teaching more than one course, click the down-pointing arrow in CRN field and select course in which you want to enter grades, and then click Submit. Under the Grade column, click arrow next to Grade field and select appropriate grade. If a student did not attend your course at all, select DNA for Did Not Attend. Repeat process for each student. Do not enter anything in any other field. Enter the grades on the first screen (students 1-25) and click Submit. If you have 26 or more students in your class, click the link for the next screen of students, enter the grades and click Submit. If you made an error before submitting and want to start over, click Reset. YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE AFTER SUBMITTING. Click Return To Menu and click CRN Selection to select another course in the same term. Submitted grades can be changed anytime until close of Final Grades Submission Period. Submission deadlines are set each term by the Registrar’s Office.

6 Blackboard - Post your Syllabus
Log into Blackboard and land on My Institution page. In My Courses, click course name. In Course Menu, click “Syllabus” link. (Grey square icon = empty link). Hover mouse over “Build Content” so that the content-type choices appear, then click on “Item”. Under Content Information, type name for your content (ex: Syllabus Fall 2016) in the Name field. Under Attachments, click Browse My Computer to attach previously prepared content (ex: syllabus created in MS Word). Click Submit. To create additional menu links, click white plus sign on Course Menu header then choose the type of link from the dropdown list and type a name for the link. Click Available to Users (or keep it hidden). Grey square with slash = hidden link.

7 Blackboard - Email Students
Log into Blackboard, you will land on My Institution page. In My Courses, click course name. In the Course Menu, click link named “ ”. All Users: Sends to all users in the course. Select Users: Sends to select users. Select the recipients in the Available to Select box and click the right-pointing arrow to move them into the Selected box. Write your and Click Submit. Benefits: Automatically includes the course name in the subject line. Uses only UNH addresses. is sent via Blackboard and resides in the user’s Outlook . Students also can you and their classmates.

9 Check Course Evaluation Response Rates
From insideUNH on the Employee tab: Click Campus Labs – Faculty Course Eval under the Admin Resources section

10 Submit a Help Desk Ticket
OR Fill out a ticket OR From insideUNH, Click “Enter a helpdesk ticket” link under the Technology tab OR Call Please include: Your full name and phone number The building name and room number A clear explanation of the issue
