Telecom: Government of Alberta's SuperNet project: high speed, Internet Protocol services throughout the Province of Alberta, the first such network of its kind in North America.
Health: AHS: acted for largest integrated health systems in Canada, in connection with its netCARE initiative, Canada’s first major regional electronic health record implementation - involved a consortium of 5 technology companies in 3 countries.
Energy: Enbridge Pipelines: PipeLink/G2B Project - multiple vendor project for development and implementation of IT system to schedule and regulate orders and deliveries of oil and gas with Enbridge’s shippers on pipelines.

M&A (IP/Tech aspects): $3 B sale of pharmacies, $800 M sale of technology-based oilfield services company, sale to Forbes of its first acquisition of Canadian-based Internet company, $650 M sale of BP Canada Energy’s assets to Devon.
Financial Services: counsel to three western Canada-based financial institutions in the negotiation of their core banking system replacement transactions.
Clean Tech: Gasification licensing and EPC transactions with Shell and Siemens for EPCOR’s coal-fired power generating plants.
Transportation: counsel to tech company developing the first multimodal “packet switched” automated maglev system capable of seamlessly connecting urban last mile urban networks with high speed intercity lines
